Majon International:
Matthew Hesser just takes the money
This company — claiming to be "Internet Marketing Specialists" — offers services to the public using the following websites: www.majon.us, www.majon.com, www.majon.cc, www.majon.net, www.safeannounce.com, www.clickexposure.com, and www.coolsurveys.com.Majon International owner and president:
Matthew Hesser, matthewh@majon.com
Is Majon International a one-man show?
Though I have received email communications from Majon International with the senders shown as Tom Harris, Jake Klamka, Monique Vautor, and Matthew Hesser, I have never spoken with anyone except Hesser.
A most deceitful practice pursued by Majon International:
The use of testimonials that are grossly misleading, false, or phony.
The Better Business Bureau reports complaints against Majon:
http://www.bbbonline.org/cks.asp?id=10109071224619023
What are the issues?
Are they fraud, deception, false advertising?

I ordered Majon International's "popular SAFE ANNOUNCE (Power Blast) Email Service", paid for the service one month ago, and Majon promised to send out 450,000 opt-in email messages.
The result: There has been no response whatsoever to this alleged mailing. None! Zero! Zilch! (By the way, they claimed to have mailed 900,000; see below) And no one at Majon, including the company's owner and president, Matthew Hesser, has responded in a responsible manner to my numerous emails.
Was I the victim of a con? You decide.
■ Majon lured me with promises to help significantly in expanding my business.
■ Majon accepted my payment in full in advance of rendering the service.
■ Majon advised me that the service was rendered, claiming they carried out a 450,000 count opt-in mailing.
■ There was not even one response. So I questioned the results and complained.
■ Majon promised to do the mailing again. Now we are at a count of 900,000 opt-in emails supposedly having been sent.
■ Surprise! Surprise? There still was no response to this alleged mailing. Not even one! Common sense will tell you that zero returns from a 900,000-count mailing is simply not plausible. A PhD in statistics will call such mailing a sham or non-existent.
■ Again, I complained.
■ Now a red flag ascends the pole: I am being ignored; no one from Majon responds to explain and give answers.
■ Wouldn't you too be mad as hell now? This blog posting appears on the Internet for the worldwide Internet audience to read.
■ Lo and behold I now hear from Majon International. Monique Vautour informs me, "I'm sorry that you are still unsatisfied with the results. I've therefore asked our payment department to process a refund."
■ Does this not add insult to injury? How can anybody be "satisfied?" What about my economic losses as a result of trusting Majon? What about the credibility losses as a result of believing in Majon International?
■ The quintessence of justification of events occured at 51 minutes past midnight on March 1, 2006: Majon International president Matthew Hesser sent me an email message. I am sharing it with you in my comment below.
■ It's getting to be interesting and ripe for action by the appropriate authorities: Beginning March 1, I am now receiving telephone calls in response to my alleged online inquiries for products/services including diabetes cures, hair restoration, and mortgage loans. I am not in need of either. How childish a prank intended to get back at me. Not even my grandchildren would stoop so low to do what children love to do. For grown-ups claiming to be responsible business people to engage in such silly antics should make us wonder and begs this question: Can you trust them with services to help your business grow?
■ I requested a list of 10 customer references from Mr. Hesser. He referred me to http://www.majon.com/customer-testimonials.html.
Here is what we found: Of the 52 names listed, 39 were not reachable for various reasons including no contact information, no email address, invalid email address. Of the 13 reached, none matched the testimonials stated by Majon; three confirmed they used Majon to send out press releases some time ago but no longer use Majon's services.
Here's the real stinger: Of the 52 so-called testimonials, we could not find a single company that used Majon International's "Safe Announce" email service.
■ 03-02-06 — My email to those featured in Majon testimonials: Mr. Matthew Hesser, owner and president of Majon International, gave us your name as a reference [http://www.majon.com/customer-testimonials.html].
I will appreciate your commenting on your experience as a customer of Majon International. Please, also identify the type of service(s) you contracted for.
Your response may be shared with appropriate authorities pertaining to business practices including but not necessarily limited to Internet marketing services.
Thank you for your cooperation.

■ 03-03-06 — Telecon with Matthew Hesser: Hesser urges me to switch to Hypertracker (http://www.hypertracker.com/). Though he argued that Majon (http://www.majon.com/) is “just a customer of hypertracker.com,” I urge you to visit both websites and compare.
Searching Google for hypertracker sent me to Amazon.com. A customer review published there is titled “How to Destroy your Business fast with Hypertracker” and reads as follows: I really liked the idea of Hypertracker, to be able to measure your ad performance for each ad source and make more money by reallocating advertising dollars. So, I subscribed to the service, enthusiastically directed thousands of ads to their tracking URLs and pumped in a bunch of money the Pay Per Clicks and other ads. After a couple of weeks work to get it all right, I turned on the computer expecting good results. What happened was their server went down, and is still down as I write this. The money I spent on the service was wasted. But worse, MY ENTIRE ADVERTISING BUDGET IS BEING WASTED BECAUSE MY POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS ARE GOING TO HYPERTRACKERS DEAD LINKS!!!”
■ 03-06-06 — My attempts to communicate with Majon International are thwarted by Majon: All emails are bounced back with the message, "Sorry, that address is not accepting mail." Would you deal with your customers like that?
■ 03-08-06 — Email addressed to Matthew Hesser, owner and president of Majon International: In response to additional considerations following further detailed investigation of your company’s Internet marketing services, including but not limited to your Targeted Opt-In Email Service, ListKingPro and Hypertracker, please be advised we will not accept your offer for a “special deal” and renew our request of February 27, 2006 for the reimbursement for damages we suffered as a result of your failure to deliver the services promised — for which you accepted payment — and deceiving us regarding the nature, extent of and quality of Majon International’s services. The damages you caused us with your so-called “Safe Announce” email service dubbed “Safe Announce Power Blast” are very significant.
More facts will be posted.
"There's a sucker born every minute." Those words, uttered by David Hannum, P.T. Barnum's competitor, are words that rile those who are unwittingly dumped into this category. They are fighting words for those who believe in fair play in the world of business and got suckered by those who do not believe in ethics.
Gotcha!
Is my experience with Majon International an exception rather than the norm? Who are happy and satisfied customers of this California company? If you are, please come forward and let all of us know of your success doing business with Majon International.
What's been your experience with Majon International? The worldwide Internet community needs to know.
Who is out there with requisite authority to do something that protects others from suffering a similar fate?

I received this email message today from Majon president Matthew Hesser:
Hello Heinz Dinter:
This is Matthew Hesser, President of Majon International. Sorry to hear that your email advertising campaign has not met with the response that you expected. That is not good news for us to hear at Majon International. We work very hard and always strive to create and deliver the best marketing and advertising services that we possibly can.
Most of our customers get a very good response to their Safe Announce emailing ad campaigns. As a matter of fact I had a customer recently tell me in a phone conversation that when he used that particular email service back in August/Sept that he got over 400 orders from his email ad campaign! (Unfortunately, he was selling cigarettes!) You should realize that not all emailings, offers, campaigns and websites are equal. Therefore results can and will vary considerably.
Nevertheless, we do not like to hear that your results were zero. There are many things that can go wrong with emailing ad campaigns .... On our side, some of those issues are: peoples spam filtering can prevent emails from getting seen or worse yet even getting delivered because of mass ip address blocking. Other problems can involve how often email lists are being used or what portion of an opt-in database is being sent to etc. On your side of the fence, there are issues as well. These can involve how well your email ad was written, was it text or html - (html heightens the probability of it being blocked by spam filters), was the email message focused with 1 INTENT in it etc... Then finally, the destination web site has a great deal to do with conversion rates and response levels... Having a web site with one central theme / action / purpose is really the best way to get sales and traffic activity. These are just some of the things to consider with email advertising campaigns.
I am mentioning this information only as a "food for thought" gesture to help you in your next advertising endeavors. Internet marketing and advertising is complicated and involves a lot of nuances that make it almost a science.
We did try our best for you by employing our time, expense and expertise in sending your ad campaign out twice at no extra cost. But since our efforts and services did not produce any visible results for your company, we will be issuing you a full refund of your Power Blast purchase. Furthermore, I do want to let you know that we are currently working on an upgrade and infusion to that Power Blast safe list. At such time that the lists have been upgraded with a new infusion of brand new opt-in participants I will ask Ms. Monique Vautour to contact you via email and let you know. If you should want to give us another try at that point we will do our utmost to deliver you the results you had hoped for and expected from our company... and of course we will still have our service guarantee available for you.
Sincerely,
Matthew Hesser
Majon International
LET'S SPREAD THE WORD.
Are you sure your campaign result was not an exception, not Majon's fault, and others were successfully served by Majon email campaigns?
You should first make sure by talking to at least 10 satisfied Majon customers who bought the same type of service that you bought. Should you fail, then pursue the remedies at your disposal and we will assist you if you like because you will have a good case.
Hopefully others who have used Majon's services will read this blog, share their experiences, good or bad, and identify themselves.
You may have a precedent-setting test case with far-reaching implications.
Face it, Dr. Heinz, you've been suckered. Those 900,000 so-called opt-in addresses are as phony as a 3 dollar bill. How can you believe these Majon people collected 900,000 legitamate email addresses using legitimate means?
I am curious. Please tell us here or email me at frankm1791@yahoo.com. My students and I want to use this information in a research project.
I also invite others to email me.
How about taking this before Judge Judy?
That's what you get when you do business on the Internet. It's scary. I will send an E-mail to all my friends and tell them to go to this Blog. I want to warn everybody.
Matthew Hesser cannot whitewash what has been documented here. If it is true that a mailing of nearly one million OPT-IN addresses does not produce a single response, then somebody is lying. If Majon did this mailing then it is absolutely impossible not to get a single response. That's one for the record books if both Hesser and Dinter tell the truth.
I received one of those email hustles from Majon asking me to order their "Power Blast" email marketing they claim goes to opt-in names. Looks like I made the right decision not to be hooked.
Now I must try to get off their email list
Majon claims to have done the work and even emailed you showing you that they were concerned and even offered you a refund, are you so stupid to not see that they have gone beyond the extra mile for you. I hope you burn in Hell, it is people like you that make doctors look incompetent.
Here’s my response to the posting by “David Eastbrow” on March 1.
First, let me identify you. Obviously, you are associated with Majon International, perhaps as an employee, and here is way. You make reference to an email. Only Majon and I have knowledge of that email. The same holds true regarding the refund. Therefore, I consider your comment at my blog to be an official statement by Majon International.
Now let’s address the issues and your wayward statements.
How could Majon have “gone beyond the extra mile” for me? What did they do? Refunding our money that they have not earned? That’s not going beyond the extra mile. And what about the economic losses we suffered because of Majon’s gross deceit? And what about the credibility loss we suffered when our reliance on Majon’s promises turned into a catastrophe with our clients? It does not take a statistics expert to conclude the probability of zero returns on a 900,000 mailing is infinitesimal. That guarantees an entry in the Guinness book of world records.
Now on to your insults. In an abundance of caution, I relate your and Majon’s unprofessional demeanor to Majon’s business practices. Prove me wrong.
I don’t want to devote my time to this matter because my interests lie elsewhere. However, I will not turn my back on a wrong that must be righted and hope president Matthew Hesser will prove that Majon International is a reputable business enterprise that adheres to business ethics and respects its customers.
What is next? My hope to settle this matter amicably appears to be a fata morgana.
Your attempt at insult gave you and Majon International away. It also is a call to arms. I shall now leave no stone unturned to get the appropriate authorities involved to investigate Majon International’s business practices and take the appropriate actions. “David Eastbrow,” you asked for it.
You are such a moron, read this page at the top that you wrote... It states that you received an email from Majon and I quote "I received this email message today from Majon president Matthew Hesser"
then Matthew Hesser states "we will be issuing you a full refund of your Power Blast purchase"
Think what you may about who I am and who I work for but the reality is that I do not work for any of the parties involved and I suggest that before you open your mouth again that you take a second look to what you wrote.
In addition I state that majon has gone the "extra mile" what I mean by this...
Any company who will take time to listen to you and then even have the president email you is a higher service than most companies will ever provide. I also restate without hesitation that you make doctors look like fools and this is very unfortunate for all the hard working men and women who actually understand reason and reality before judging.
Also to add to this comment you once again make crazy assumptions and I again quote you “Obviously, you are associated with Majon International, perhaps as an employee” – I have to point out how you assume before you have solid evidence. I have used another company throughout the years to distribute my emails and I have noticed many trends with my emailings:
1.) Emailing in bulk has many benefits but is not a science.
2.) Emails with all or most large bold lettering does not get a very high response.
3.) Images included in the email tend to get a higher response.
You stated that you had zero response I would like you to expound on this statement. Did you have any additional traffic to your site but not make sales? Or did you see zero traffic, and zero sales? Also what is the sites name that you were sending traffic to? Also please include the email and title that you sent out.
I know that the layout has many roles in finding sales. Even though I disagree with your methods of blaming any company especially when they bend over backwards for you I understand how competitive the internet can be so between myself and other bloggers we may be able to help you find a very positive solution.
Mr. Hesser,
During the month of February I have sent a total of 8 email messages to Majon International dealing with our dissatisfaction, to wit, 1 on February 14, 2 on February 17, 1 on February 24, 1 on February 27, and 3 on February 28. Just because they were not all addressed to you personally does not justify your claiming “you” did not receive any email from me prior to February 28. That, Mr. Hesser, is a highly unethical uttering.
Tolerance does not include accepting misfeasance and malfeasance as a permanent condition. You cheated us by doing wrong with malice and forethought for the purpose of making a profit that was not earned. I was tolerant by cooperating with you and believing you would right the wrong you committed.
Not receiving a single response from your sending out 900,000 emails from what you call your “Safe Announce email list” is clear evidence that you committed a deceitful act.
No one else should suffer what we and our clients have suffered from your reckless, irresponsible and unlawful actions. I assure you that the creation of www.gotchatruths.blogspot.com is only a small step in pursuit of bringing to justice those who misuse the Internet and cheat their customers.
Though I never dreamed of having to involve myself in such pursuits, I shall do what must be done, stop improper and unlawful business practices, and hold you responsible for Majon International's action.
Mr. Hesser, do the right thing and you will be respected in the business community. Only you can make things right.
We have used Majon international services for onpage optimization and guaranteed link build services. we get good result in both services, we are satisfied with their efforts and we recommend majon for seo work.
